  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 9 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • Candy Canes, crushed

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and peppermint extract until smooth. Gradually add the confectioners’ sugar, beating the mixture well. Shape the mixture into 1” ball shapes. Place the peppermint balls on waxed paper-lined baking sheets; Flatten into patties. Cover the baking sheets and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight.

Melt the milk chocolate chips, semisweet chocolate chips, and butter in the microwave; stir the mixture until it is smooth. Cool the chocolate mixture slightly. Dip the patties into the melted chocolate; Place the patties on waxed paper and sprinkle with the crushed candy canes. Store the peppermint patties in the refrigerator until they are served.
