  • 2 bananas
  • 1/4 ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tbs. butter
  • 3 tbs. heavy cream

Step 1

Slice the bananas in half lengthwise and cut each half into 3 pieces. Place bananas in a sauté pan over medium heat and sprinkle with half the sugar, cooking until the sugar just begins to take color, and add the remaining sugar and continue to cook until the sugar turns light amber. Stir in the butter and then the bananas and turn to coat with the caramel. Add the cream and stir, cook until the bananas soften.
