Ingredients

  • Layer 1:
  • 2/3 c. dry roasted peanuts, choped
  • 1 c. all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • With pastry cutter blend flour and margarine. Add peanuts. Pat evenly into 8 x 12 inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 300 degrees. Cool thoroughly.
  • Layer 2:
  • 1/3 c. peanut butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 (4 1/2 oz.) Cool Whip
  • Cream peanut butter and cream cheese together. Add powdered sugar and mix well. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over layer 1.
  • Layer 3:
  • 1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 small pkg. instant chocolate pudding
  • 2 3/4 c. milk
  • Using electric mixer or rotary beater, blend pudding mixes with milk. Spread on layer 2.
  • Layer 4:
  • 1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 1 oz. sweet chocolate, grated
  • 1/3 c. chopped roasted peanuts
  • Top Layer 3 with Cool Whip, choclate and peanuts. Chill 2-3 hours.
