Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. water
  • 5 medium cooking apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2" wedges
  • 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 t. cinnamon
  • 1/4 t. nutmeg
  • 2 T. chilled butter or light margarine

Step 1

Coat 11 X 7" baking dish with Pam; pour water into dish. Arrange apples in dish; lightly coat apples with Pam.

Combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg; cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples. Bake 350* for 30 mins. or until apples are tender.
