  • Ingredients:
  • 1 package of devil’s food cake
  • 20 unwrapped caramels
  • ½ cup of evaporated milk
  • ¾ cup melted butter (I use around 1/3-1/2)
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup semi-sweet choc. Chips
  • **Demarle shaped mold and deep dish mold
  • **Demarle perforated sheet

Step 1

Directions:
Preheat 350 degress. Can use sunflower or sponge cake mold.
Mix cake batter according to package and pour half of the batter in mold. Set aside other half. Bake first half for 15 minutes.
While cake is baking, put caramels, milk, butter in deep dish mold and microwave until melted.
Take cake out of oven after 15 minutes; pour caramel mixture over cake.
Sprinkle with nuts and chips; pour remaining cake batter on top of caramel layer.
Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes or until done. Cool completely before unmolding
