Ingredients
- FILLING:
- 1 c butter
- 2 c brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 t vanilla
- 2 1/2 c sifted all purpose flour
- 1 t baking soda
- 1 t salt
- 3 c quick oats
- In large mixer bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar. beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, soda ,and salt. Stir in oats. Stir dry ingredients into cream mixture till blended; ste aside.
- 1 (15oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 c semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 T butter
- 1/2 t salt
- 2 t vanilla
- 1 c chopped nuts

Preparation
Step 1
In heavy sauce pan over low heat, melt together sweetened condensed milk, chocolate, butter and salt; stirring till smooth. Stir in vanilla and nuts.
Pat 2/3 of oat mixture in bottom of a gread 10x15x1 inch pan. Spread chocolate over dough. Dot with remaining oat mixture. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350*. Cool; cut into 2x1 inch bars.
