  • 1 Angel food cake
  • 1 pkg strawberry jello
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • Fresh Strawberries for garnish

Step 1

Make Jello, using hot water. Cool. Mix in all of one package frozen strawberries (save out a few nice whole ones for decorating top, if desired)

Let set in refrigerator until jelly like.

Whip 1/2 pint whipping cream. Mix Jello mixture into cream and beat. Put in refrigerator until partially set, so it can be spread.

Cut Angel cake into three slices across. Put bottom back into angel cake pan, spread 1/2 jwllo-strawberry on, add second layer, spread with rest of jello mix and top with last cake layer.

Place in refrigerator until set (several hours) or overnight.

When ready to slice, remove, whip other 1/2 pint then frost entire cake.

Decorate with strawberries.
