Ingredients

  • 1 large fryer
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 T flour
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 soup can light cream
  • 1 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 t black pepper
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 C blanched almonds
  • 5 oz package spaghetti noodles

Step 1

Cook chicken in water to cover, to which has been added onions, clelery, carrots, bay leaf, thyme, parsley and pepper corns. Cube chicken. Boil noddles in strained chicken liquid. Melt butter; add flour and stir until smooth. Stir in soup. Add cream. Thicken, add salt, pepper, mushrooms, almonds and chicken. Put noodles in greased baking dish and pour in chiken mixture. Cook at 350 degrees. Sprinkle top with parmesan cheese.
