- 1/2 cup (packed) fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup (packed) fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
- 1 tsp. finely grated lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- Kosher salt, freshly ground pepper

Pulse basil, parsley, zest, and pepper flakes, if using, in a food processor until coarsely chopped. Add oil and lemon juice and pulse to combine; season with salt and pepper.
