Great Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 sticks melted butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon vanilla (or more to taste)
• dash of salt

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, flour (one cup at a time - mixing in between additions), baking soda and vanilla.

Divide the dough into three pieces and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill for at least 3 hours or overnight.

Roll the dough until 1/8" thin and cut out desired shapes.

Bake in a 350-degree preheated oven for about 10 minutes.

Cool and decorate as desired.
