Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 3 cups grated carrots
  • 2 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups wesson oil
  • 4 eggs
  • Frosting
  • 8 oz pkg cream cheese
  • 2/3 cup soft margarine
  • 1 # confectioner's sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Sift sugar, flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Add other ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Bake in 9 x 12" greased and floured pan.

Bake for 55-60 minutes


Frosting:

Mix margarine and cream cheese, then stir in other ingredients.
