Easy Biscuit Breakfast Bake

It is super easy and can be prepared in advance, so all you have to do is get up and bake it. This recipe is so good and so easy, we'll have it on weekdays, too! Another plus is the 'have it your way' versatility of this recipe! You can add and substitute any number of ingredients to suit this exactly to your family's tastes.

Ingredients
- 1 16 oz. can refrigerated biscuits, your preferred brand is fine
- 1 cup sausage, crumbled bacon pieces, or cubed ham
- 1 1/2 cup. shredded cheese (we used a cheddar blend)
- 1/4 c. diced yellow onion, optional
- 2-3 chopped green onions for garnish, optional
- 1/4 c. milk
- 6 eggs
- Salt and pepper, as desired
- Optional additions & substitutions - your favorite cheese, bacon pieces, cubed ham, peppers, spinach, and/or hot sauce.

Preparation
Step 1
Cook your sausage and drain on a paper towel then crumble into pieces.
Mix the milk, eggs, onions and cheese with a whisk in a large bowl. Cut the biscuits into fourths and stir them into the egg mix. Now add the sausage crumbles.
Pour egg-biscuit mix into well greased 9x13 casserole dish, making sure the biscuits are in a single layer and not clumped together.
Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes of until the center reaches 160°F.
