Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 tsp.salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 cups sugar
- ****************************************
- 1 1/2 cups oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups finally grated carrots
- 1/2 cups chopped walnuts (opt.)
- 8 oz. crushed pineapple

Step 1
Sift together theMhe first six ingredients and aside. Beat 4 eggs together and gradually beat in oil and vanilla. GradalIly blend oil mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well ,add carrots,
pineapple, and nuts and mix well. Bake in 350* for 45
to 50 minutes in 2- 9 inch round pans or 1- 9x13 pan
Frosting:
Beat together 1/2 cup butter ond 1 (8 ounce) package of Philadelphia cream cheese and 1 teasponi vanilla. Cream together and add gradually, 1 box powdered sugar. Beat well with electric mixer. Frost when cake is cool.
