Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 6 tsp. cocoa, divided
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water

Step 1
Combine flour, brown sugar, 3 tbsp. cocoa, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Add combined milk, oil and vanilla to flour mixing, mixing well.
Spoon batter into greased 8" square baking pan.
Mix remaining 3 tbsp. cocoa and sugar; sprinkle over cake batter.
Pour boiling water slowly over batter; do not stir. Bake at 350 degrees until cake springs back, about 30 minutes. Cool on wire rack 5 to 10 minutes; serve warm.
