  • 1 16oz can fruit with its juice - your choice (peaches)
  • 1 C Flour
  • 1 C Sugar
  • 1 C Milk
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • Dash of salt
  • 1/2 C (1 stick) margarine
  • 1/4 C cinnamon sugar for topping

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Heat fruit and juice in a medium size saucepan over medium heat until boiling; set aside. In a medium size bowl, combine flour, sugar, milk, baking powder and salt.

Melt margarine in a 2 QT casserole. Pour batter over margarine. Add hot fruit; do not stir.

Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over casserole.

Bake 20 to 30 minutes.
