Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 sleeve of Ritz crackers, crushed (vegetable)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 4 oz shredded cheese (sharp)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350F.

2. Beat eggs. Add milk and crackers. Stir in onion, cheese, salt and pepper. Add ground beef. Mix well. Shape into a loaf.

3. Bake at 350 for 45 mins. Combine topping and spoon half over meatloaf after 30 mins of baking. Spoon the rest of the topping over meatloaf after another 10 mins of baking, return to oven and bake for 5-10 mins more.
