It's the perfect mate: tall, dark, handsome... and just sweet enough. Iced tea is a go-to thirst quencher during the sweltering summer months. But while reliable, it can sometimes seem bland. For an iced tea worth swooning over, take this recipe.

Ingredients
- For Basic Iced Tea:
- 8 cups boiling water
- 8 tea bags
- For Ginger and Honey Tea:
- 2 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1/3 cup honey
- For Pomegranate Juice and Lime Tea:
- 2 cups pomegranate juice
- 3 limes, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- For Watermelon and Basil Tea:
- 1/8 medium watermelon, cut in triangles
- 1 small bunch fresh basil
- sugar, to taste
- For Peach and Mint Tea:
- 4 ripe peaches, cut in 1/2in pieces
- 1 small bunch fresh mint sprigs
- sugar, to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Pour 8 cups of boiling water into a heat-resistant pitcher. Add 8 tea bags and let steep for 10 minutes. Remove and discard the bags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature before refridgerating. Add one of the flavor boosters (each recipe serves 8) and pour over ice.
