Ingredients
- 2 3/4 C sifted Flour
- 2 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 3/4 C Shortening
- 1 Pkg Brown Sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 C Nuts broken up
- 1 Pkg Chocolate Chips

Preparation
Step 1
Mix and sift flour, baking powder and salt - Melt shortening and add brown sugar. Stir till mixed well, allow to cool slightly and add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each. Add dry ingredients, then nuts and chocolate chips.
Pour onto greased pan (about 10 1/2 x 15 1/2 x 3/4) Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. When almost cool cut into squares.
