Ingredients
- 225 grams flour
- 125 grams cold butter, chopped
- 1 egg yolk
- 3 tbs. ice water

Preparation
Step 1
Sift flour into a bowl, rub in butter. Add yolk and enough water to make ingredients cling together. Press dough into a ball and knead gently on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Wrap in plastic and chill for 30 minutes.
Roll pastry between sheets of wax paper and chill 30 minutes; prick before baking.
