Lasagna 0 Picture


  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 14-16 oz cottage cheese
  • 1 1/2-2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 pkg (8 oz) lasagna noodles
  • 8 oz grated mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste, plus one can water
  • 1 pt chopped or crushed tomatoes
  • 1/4 tsp minced garlic or 1 clove minced
  • 1 Tbsp oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • mushrooms (optional)



Step 1

Preheat oven 350
Brown beef and onion
Add tomato paste, tomatoes and water
Simmer an hour
Prepare noodles
Cream cottage cheese and eggs with mixer
Grease 13x9 pan
Add 1/3 of the meat sauce for the first layer
Layer with half of the noodles and half of the cheese
Next layer all of the cottage cheese mixture
Add another think layer of sauce
Top with the other half of the noodles and the other half of the mozzarella
Top with remaining sauce and cover with parm cheese
Bake 40-45 mins at 350
Loosely cover with foil for first 15-20 mins
