2 cups cake flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add shortening and ¾ cup milk. Beat 2 minutes. Add remaining milk, eggs and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
