Ingredients
- 2 cups Fleischman’s Yeast
- ½ cup warm water
- 1 ½ cups warm buttermilk
- ½ cup melted shortening
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 ½ cups flour
- ½ tsp soda
- ¼ cup sugar
- Appr. 3 links sausage cooked

Preparation
Step 1
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add warm buttermilk,
Shortening, salt, and sugar, Add flour and soda,
(sifted together). Mix well and let rise (twice it’s
Size or better) Stir again. Take about 1 tbs of dough and
Roll out. Place piece of sausage inside and wrap up.
Let them rise again and bake at 425 degrees for 10 to
12 minutes
Makes about 60-75 Kolbasnikis
