Ingredients

  • 1 # round steak, cut 1/4 inch thick
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups mushrooms (fresh are best)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can condensed beef broth
  • 1 Cup sour cream
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp flour

Preparation

Step 1

Trim fat from meat, cut it diagonally across grain into strips about 1/4 inch wide. Brown quickly in butter. Push meat to one side.

Add mushrooms and onion, cook til tender. Add broth, heat just to boiling.

Blend sour cream and flour, stir into broth. Cook and stir until mixture thickens (sauce will be thin). Season to taste.

Serve over hot buttered noodles.
