Ingredients

  • 1 pkg.Peperidge Farm cubed, herb seasoned stuffing;
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 8 dried apricots diced
  • 1 apple chopped
  • 1 cup walnuts or pecans
  • 1 chopped onion or leeks or shallots
  • 4 stocks celery chopped
  • 1 lb.cooked sausage
  • 1/4 about 1/4 cup poultry seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 32 0z Hot chicken broth
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Cook the onion and celery in a little butter until tender.
In a large bowl toss everything together except for the chicken broth and butter. in a saucepan heat the butter and chicken broth together.
Add broth to the other ingredients and toss again. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Bake in a buttered 3 quart backing dish at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
