Ingredients
- 2 lbs ripe kiwi (10 to 15), peeled and halved
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/3 cups water
- 1 Tbspn Grand Marnier
- 1 tspn vodka
- finely grated chocolate, optional

Step 1
(for a slightly more vibrant green color, you might consider adding a few drops of green food coloring at the blending stage.)
1. Place the kiwi into a food processor and process until puree-ed.
2. Add the sugar, water, and liquors and blend until smooth.
3. Chill the kiwi mixture thoroughly, and freeze according to your ice cream maker's directions.
4. In the final few minutes of the freezing process, add the grated chocolate, if desired, for extra flavor.
