Radio Pudding

Old Family Favourite! . This recipe is very old and is called Radio Pudding because it was copied from a radio broadcast several years ago prior to television.
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp soda
- 2 tsp cream of tarter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- Sauce for pudding
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- Butter the size of a large walnut
- 2 cups boiling water

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine first 8 ingredients and pour into greased 9 x 13" pan. Mix sauce in bowl and pour over back of spoon on top of pudding mixture. Bake 30 - 40 minutes. Serve warm and can be served with vanilla ice cream, whip cream or just by itself.
Because my family loves this recipe & it disappears very quick..I usually use 1 1/2 times the recipe and cook in a deep dish 9 x13" pan. I also place a cookie sheet under the pan just in case it bubbles over.
