  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • Butter the size of a large walnut
  • 2 cups boiling water

Preparation time 8mins
Cooking time 45mins

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine first 8 ingredients and pour into greased 9 x 13" pan. Mix sauce in bowl and pour over back of spoon on top of pudding mixture. Bake 30 - 40 minutes. Serve warm and can be served with vanilla ice cream, whip cream or just by itself.

Because my family loves this recipe & it disappears very quick..I usually use 1 1/2 times the recipe and cook in a deep dish 9 x13" pan. I also place a cookie sheet under the pan just in case it bubbles over.
