Ingredients

  • 1

    cup flour

  • 1/2

    cup white sugar

  • 1

    tsp soda

  • 2

    tsp cream of tarter

  • 1/4

    tsp salt

  • 1/2

    cup raisins

  • 1/2

    cup milk

  • 1/2

    tsp vanilla

  • Sauce for pudding

  • 1/2

    cup brown sugar

  • Butter the size of a large walnut

  • 2

    cups boiling water

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine first 8 ingredients and pour into greased 9 x 13" pan. Mix sauce in bowl and pour over back of spoon on top of pudding mixture. Bake 30 - 40 minutes. Serve warm and can be served with vanilla ice cream, whip cream or just by itself. Because my family loves this recipe & it disappears very quick..I usually use 1 1/2 times the recipe and cook in a deep dish 9 x13" pan. I also place a cookie sheet under the pan just in case it bubbles over. Enjoy!
