Ingredients

  • Dressing:
  • 3 slices whole-grain bread
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • pinch salt and pepper
  • 1 large head romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 tsp. each salt and pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp. warm water
  • 2 tbsp. tahini
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F. Cut bread into 1/2 inch pieces and place in bowl. Add oil, salt and pepper and toss to coat well. Arrange in a single layer on rimmed sheet. Bake 20 mins. or until golden. Let cool. Prepare lettuce and place in large bowl. Divide among 4 bowls.

Dressing:

In small bowl, stir together dressing ingredients. Pour 1/4 of dressing over lettuce and toss to coat. Sprinkle with 1/4 of croutons.
