Ingredients

  • Orange sauce:
  • 4 oz chicken (diced into bit size pieces)
  • 2 TB spelt flour
  • 1 tsp arrowroot powder
  • sea salt (to taste)
  • cayenne pepper (to taste)
  • 1 TB tamari sauce
  • 1 TB water
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 clementine orange zested
  • 3 TB Xylitol
  • 3 TB rice vinegar
  • (if you like it a little more spicy, add 1 tsp of chili paste)

Preparation

Step 1


Mix spelt, arrowroot, salt & cayenne in bag. After chicken is diced, dry on paper towel. Put chicken in bag with flour mix and coat well.

Combine sauce ingredients, mix well and set aside while chicken cooks.

Put chicken in a dry wok and cook until chicken is done (no longer soft). Add sauce and stir until you have the desired amount of remaining sauce.

Serve over brown rice & veggies (I grilled some shredded broccoli, carrots & cabbage) and topped with green onion slices.
