- Prepare 24 hours in advance
- 1 large head cabbage
- 1 medium onion
- 1 medium green bell pepper
- 1 carrot (optional)
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon celery seed

Preparation
Step 1
SHRED CABBAGE, PEPPER, ONION and CARROT.
MIX 1 CUP SUGAR AND 1 TABLESPOON SALT.
ADD TO VEGETABLES.
HEAT 2 CUP VINEGAR, 1/2 CUP SALAD OIL AND 1 TABLESPOON SUGAR (OR TO TASTE) UNTIL IT BOILS.
POUR OVER VEGETABLES, STIR AND SEAL IN LARGE CONTAINER.
REFRIGERATE FOR 24 HOURS.
