Sammy's Oatmeal Cookies

A very hearty cookie, a favorite for us

Ingredients

• 3 cups Butter Crisco
• 2 1/4 cups brown sugar
• 2 1/4 cups sugar
• 7 large eggs or 6 jumbo eggs
• Cream the above four ingredients.
• 3 tsp. vanilla
• 3 tsp. salt
• 3 tsp. soda
• 6 cups oats (regular not fast cooking)
• Mix in the above 3 ingredients
• 4 1/2 cups flour
• 1 box raisin or craisins
• Add these two and mix well

Preparation

Step 1

Put a large tablespoon full on an ungreased cookie sheet. Place on 2nd rack fromteh top of oven. Bake at 325 for approximately 10 minutes ( i find its more like 15)

I flatten the cookies 1/2 way through the baking process with a spatula and then turn cookie sheet.
