Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 lb Walnut Halves
  • 1 1/2 tabl water
  • 1 1/2 c sugar
  • 1/2 tea ground cloves
  • 1/2 tea all spice
  • 1/2 tea ground cinnamon
  • 1 tea salt

Step 1

Lightly whisk egg whites and set aside. In a large saucepan mix together the rest of ingredients (minus nuts) until sugar dissolves. Cool until warm to the touch. Fold in egg whites and add walnuts and coat evenly (allow to drain if too much coating). Spray baking sheet with a good coating. Spread in a single layer and bake @ 250 for about 1 hour. Cool and store @ room temp.
