Ingredients
- 8 medium russett potatoes
- 1/2 lb bacon
- 1 medium onion chopped fine
- 1/2 cup cidar vinegar
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- pepper to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Peel potatoes and cook in boiling salted water until just tender. While potatoes are boiling fry bacon crisp in 10 inch skillet., then remove from skillet and crumble. Pour bacon grease from skillet, then measure 1/4 cup and pour back in skillet. Saute onion in grease until golden. While onion is sauting combine vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Once onion is done pour vinegar mixture over onion and heat until boiling. Add diced potatoes and bacon and toss gently combining all. Cover and heat until good eating temperature.
