Ingredients

  • Green beans and zucchini and bacon
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 1/2 bag frozen french style sliced green beans
  • 3 or 4 zucchinis, sliced
  • 4-6 slices bacon, cooked (It's more expensive
  • but sometimes I use a packet of Hormel microwave bacon.
  • It saves a cooking step.)

Preparation

Step 1

Either cook microwave bacon according to package
directions or fry bacon and drain on paper towels.
Set aside. Saute chopped onion in two TBSP margarine
in large skillet over medium heat until onion is s
oftened. About 5 minutes. Place frozen green beans
in microwave dish, cover and cook covered in microwave
on high for 2 minutes. When onion begins to soften add
zucchini and saute stirring frequently. Maybe 5 - 10 minutes
until zucchini is softened. Add microwaved green beans to
zucchini and onion in skillet, crumble cooked bacon.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook about 2 minutes
until green beans are hot.
