This is a Magandy Family favorite! Believe this one came from Aunt Nellie, Grandpa Magandy's sister.

Ingredients

  • COOKIE:

  • 1 cup butter, softened

  • 1/3 cup cream

  • 2 cups Flour

  • FILLING:

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened

  • 3/4 cup confectioners sugar

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 1 teaspoon almond extract

Directions

COOKIE DOUGH: Mix butter, cream and flour well. Roll in 3 parts, cut with shot glass. Drop tops in sugar, stick with fork. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. FILLING: Mix all filling ingredients together, use food coloring for different colors. Once cookies have cooled, spread filling on a cookie and sandwich with another cookie. Keep in a cool place or fridge.
