Shot glass cookies
This is a Magandy Family favorite! Believe this one came from Aunt Nellie, Grandpa Magandy's sister.
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/3 cup cream
- 2 cups Flour
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
Mix butter, cream and flour well. Roll in 3 parts, cut with shot glass. Drop tops in sugar, stick with fork. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
Mix all filling ingredients together, use food coloring for different colors.
Once cookies have cooled, spread filling on a cookie and sandwich with another cookie. Keep in a cool place or fridge.
