Ingredients
- 1 ¼ all purpose flour
- 1 TB baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ c sugar
- 2 ½ c Kelloggs Bran Flakes cereal
- 1 ¼ c milk
- 1 egg
- ¼ vegetable oil

Preparation
Step 1
Stir together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Set aside.
Measure bran flakes and milk into large mixing bowl. Stir to combine. Let stand 1 – 2 minutes or until cereal is softened. Add egg and oil. Beat well.
Add flour mixture, stirring only until combined. Portion batter evenly into 12 greased 2 ½ inch muffin pan cups.
Bake at 400 for 18 – 20 minutes or until tests done.
Per muffin – 160 cal, 3 g protein, 26 g carb, 1.6 g fiber, 280 mg sodium.
