Ingredients

  • 1/2 Head of Cabbage (Optional)
  • 4 - 5 Potatoes cut in 1 inch squares
  • 1 to 1-1/2 lbs of ground beef (80-20 fat ratio preferred)
  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
  • 16 OZ can of Delmonte dices tomatoes with Green peppers and onions
  • 2 LBS frozen mixed vegetables
  • 14.5 OZ beef broth
  • 32 OZ V8 Juice

Preparation

Step 1

In large pan put in about 4-5 inches of water and break up ground beef.

Boil until beef looks brown, about 10 - 15 minutes.

Add:

Beef broth
Soy Sauce
V8 Juice
Onion
Diced Tomatoes mixture

Simmer for 15-20 minutes

Add cabbage and cook for another 10 - 15 minutes

Add potatoes, cook 10 to 15 minutes

Add frozen vegetables and simmer until done.

Check the doneness of the cabbage, potatoes and vegetables as they cook

Add more V8 juice if more liquid is needed.
