Ingredients
- 2 C. Whole Milk
- 1 C. Whipping Cream
- 3/4 C. Sugar
- 1 Vanilla Bean (scraped)

Step 1
Combine all ingredients into a pot & place over med heat. The vanilla bean can be a little tricky; take a knife & cut along the seam then use a spoon to get out the beans. Add the bean itself to the pot as well to add that extra bit of flavor. Stir occasionally & heat till sugar dissolves & just before boiling. Remove immediately from heat, pour into lg. liquid measuring cup, cover & refrigerate afew hours or overnight till ingredients are very cold. Remove the vanilla bean, then pour mixture into ice cream maker. Process till it reaches desired consistency; approx. 20 min or so. Place in freezer container & freeze till firm; at least afew hours or overnight before serving.
