  • CHICKEN:
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise, divided
  • 2 teaspoons dehydrated onion flakes
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 cup butter-flavored cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 pound chicken tenders

  • DIP:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 ⁄2 cup sour cream
  • 1 ⁄4 cup chopped onion (about 1 small)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 ⁄4 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 ⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425°F. Lightly spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.


Combine 2⁄3 cup mayonnaise, the onion flakes and mustard in a shallow bowl. Mix well. Combine the cracker crumbs and sesame seeds in another shallow bowl. Mix well.


Dip the chicken in the mayonnaise mixture, then coat with the cracker crumb mixture. Arrange the coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet. Bake the chicken until cooked through and the juices run clear when pierced with a knife, about 15 minutes.


Meanwhile, combine the remaining mayonnaise, the sour cream, chopped onion, parsley, seasoning salt and garlic powder in a small bowl. Mix well. Serve the sauce with the chicken tenders.

Make a mandarin chicken salad! Fill a bowl with torn romaine lettuce, chopped green onions and drained canned mandarin orange segments. Toss with remaining chicken tenders, crispy noodles and purchased honey mustard dressing.
