Pecan Dreams

This was an old recipe of mom's which she had gotten from Caroline Renner in the early 1950's

Ingredients

• 1 Cup (1/2#) butter
• 6 Tbsp Confectioners sugar
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 2 tsp water
• 2 Cups flour
• 1 1/2 Cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, sugar.

Add vanilla, water, flower, pecans

Roll into balls about the size of dates.

Bake at 275-300 degrees for 30 minutes.

While still warm, roll in confectioner's sugar. Makes about 60 cookies. Cookies do not spread.
