Ingredients
- 1/4 recips of puff pastry dough
- 75 grams cake or bread crumbs
- 1000 grams apple filling

Preparation
Step 1
1 Roll pastry dough to 16" X 8 " rectangle and 1/8th inch thick. Fold the dough in half over a ruler.
2 Using a pizza cutter cut the edges of the dough straight across. The tabs should be approximately 1 1/2 inch in length.
3. Using ruler unfold dough.
Place the cake crumbs down the centre of the dough. Place the apple filling on top of the cake crumbs.
4. Eggwash the puff pastry tabs and fold the tabs alternately over the filling. Eggwash the top of the strudel and dust with coarse sugar.
5. Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 30 - 40 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and the apple are cooked.
