Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 2 1/2 cup canned tomatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire
  • 2 tbsp. oil

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Brown beef in oil. Remove meat. Add onions and rice. Cook, stirring with fork until browned. Add tomatoes, water, seasonings and meat. Bring to boil. Pour into 2 quart casserole and cover. Bake 45 minutes to one hour.
