Sesame-Teriyaki Shrimp

Ingredients
- 12 wooden skewers
- 24 frozen large or jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined (about 1 lb.)
- 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp chopped cilantro

Preparation
Step 1
Soak skewers in warm water for at least 20 min.
Place shrimp in a large colander. Run under cold water until defrosted. Pat dry with paper towels.
Preheat barbecue to 350F.
Put 2 shrimp on each skewer.
Stir teriyaki sauce with sesame oil in a small bowl. Set aside half of mixture.
Brush the other half of teriyaki mixture over both sides of shrimp.
Grill shrimp until pink and cooked through, 2 to 3 min per side.
Transfer to a platter and sprinkle with sesame seeds and cilantro.
Serve with reserved teriyaki mixture, and pair with Balsamic-Soy Angus Steak for a surf-and-turf dinner.
