Ingredients
- Curried:
- 1 c lentils
- 2 1/2 c water
- 2 bullion cubes
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 c butter
- 1 onion, chopped, sauteed in butter with garlic
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 T curry powder
- 2 T lemon juice
- Sweet and Sour:
- 1/4 c apple juice
- 1/4 c cider vinegar
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/8 t cloves
- sauteed onion

Preparation
Step 1
1) Simmer lentils, water, bouillon, and bay leaf 20 min.
2) Add additional/optional ingredients and heat through.
