Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1.5 cups cake flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, room temp
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups milk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Line muffin tins with paper liners. Whisk together both flours, baking powder, salt and 1 tbsp cinnamon.
With a mixer on medium, cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add vanilla. Add flour mix in 3 batches, alternating with milk, beating well after each.
Scoop into liners, fill 3/4. Bake 15-18 minutes.
Top with vanilla buttercream, then dust with cinnamon.
