Ingredients
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- ¼ cup warm water
- 1 cup milk, warmed
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- ½ cup soft butter
- 3 eggs
- 5 ¼ - 5 ½ cups flour

Step 1
Sprinkle yeast over warm water and stir and dissolve one minute. Combine the milk, sugar, salt, butter, and eggs. Beat well and stir in the yeast. Add 2 ½ cups flour, beating until smooth. Add 2 ½ cups more flour and mix until dough holds together. Knead 1 minute and rest for 10 minutes. Resume kneading for 8 – 10 minutes. Place dough into a greased bowl and cover with plastic. Rise dough in a warm place until doubled. Punch dough and form according to the recipe.
