Ingredients
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 package dry yeast
- 2-1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Step 1
Combine water and yeast in a bowl. Add 1-1/2 cups flour, mix well. Add oil, salt and remaining flour. With hands or wooden spoon, work the ingredients together until dough holds it shape. Less flour may be needed, add last cup gradually. Place dough on lightly floured surface and knead with the heel of your hand for 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic. Remove dough to lightly oiled bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let dough rest for 1 hour in warm place, until double in size. When dough has risen, place on a lightly floured surface, divide into two parts and roll into balls. Cover with towel, let rest for 15-20 minutes. The dough can now be shaped, topped with ingredients and baked.
