  • 5 cups quick-cooking oats, uncooked
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
  • 1 cup Grape Nuts cereal
  • Artificial sweetener, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Mix oats with orange juice; broil on cookie sheet for 15 minutes, stirring often until toasted. Combine wheat germ and almond extract in bowl; mix well. Add toasted oats and remaining ingredients; mix well. Store in covered container.
