Ingredients
- This is a triple batch, which is how the family makes it for the frezzer.
- 6 eggs
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 cup melted butter (3 sticks)
- 3 cups Evaporated milk (2 12ounce cans)
- 2 1/4 cups Ice water
- 6 cups flour
- 6 teaspoons Baking Powder

Preparation
Step 1
1. Separate egg whites from egg yolk
2. Beat egg whites until stiff.
3. Beat egg yolks, add sugar, salt, butter, cream, and ice water.
4. Sift flour and baking powder together then add to above mixture. Small amounts at a time.
5. Fold in egg whites, (by hand)
6. If it stands for any time add 2 to 3 tablespoon of ice water if batter becomes to thick.
7. Cook to desired bownness on waffle iron.
You can let the waffles cool, down,then place wax paper between each waffle, place in a frezzer bag. Then either toast or microwave to reheat.
