Ingredients
- 12 pounds tomatoes peeled and chopped
- 2 medium onions
- 2-4 chilies
- 1/4 cup fresh basil
- 2 Tbsp. Fresh oregano- 1 Tbsp dried oregano
- 1 Tbsp. marjorem
- 2 tsp. fennel seed (I omitted)
- 6 cloves of garlic
- puree all this in food processor
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp. salt
- 30 ounces tomato paste
- 1/3 cup olive oil
